Married At First Sight star Hayley Vernon has furiously shut down claims by a tabloid magazine that she'd admitted to being a teenage heroin user.
The recovered drug addict, 32, told Daily Mail Australia that she had only ever used meth and cannabis and did not appreciate having her troubled past misrepresented.
‘The [NW] magazine article claims I have been using meth and heroin since the age of 16 which is an absolute crock of s**t,' she said.

The fitness fanatic clarified that she started using marijuana at 16 and never touched anything else until 19, which is when she developed her addiction to meth.
‘I have been nothing but honest about my past and they are taking my honesty for a spin,' she raged.
Hayley also said that she's never injected drugs before, and only ever smoked meth and marijuana.

The finance broker spent her 20s struggling with addiction, but has since replaced drugs with a dedication to health and fitness.
She now spends her days in the gym and regularly shares healthy recipes and workouts on social media.
Despite her wild past, Hayley says that she's actually ‘very traditional'.

The 32-year-old candidly outlined what sort of wife she hopes to be in a new promotional video for the controversial social experiment.
‘The idea of being a perfect wife, I'm very traditional in the way that I am,' she said in an interviewed released on Tuesday.
The former account executive added: ‘I like to be the caretaker. I love to be the nurturer, the lover.

‘I want babies. I want the 2.5 kids. I want the SUV. I wanna be a footy mum. I just wanna be the doter and the carer. And I'm really ready for that, more than anything.'
Hayley will be paired with Melbourne truck driver David Cannon, 31, on MAFS.
