Swimming: No snag as Singapore swimmers get Olympics qualifying extension

National swimmers Darren Chua, Amanda Lim, Quah Ting Wen and others aiming for Olympic berths may have to wait till June to confirm their Tokyo 2020 slots, with the Singapore National Swimming Age Group Championships (Snag) rescheduled owing to the coronavirus outbreak.

The Snag, which was initially scheduled for next month, was the last local event on the Singapore Swimming Association’s (SSA) list of qualifying meets for the Olympics.
